HOW WE GET IT BUILT, EASIER
Building is never a simple process, but we’ve taken care of the nitty-gritty so you can focus on the aspects that matter most to you. The Sunrise build team handles everything for you—from securing building and shire approvals to managing contracts and everything in between. All you need to do is choose a design you love, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Our process begins with a free consultation, where you can ask any questions and discuss your specific requirements. If you prefer, we can also collaborate with your nominated builder, guiding them through the process and outlining the steps needed for a smooth installation.
Once you’re satisfied with the final design, we’ll take it from there. Your building will be completed in our facility and transported to the site with minimal fuss.
The Process
Step 1
DISCOVER
First, you’ll connect with our expert Sunrise Customer service team to discuss your requirements and design options – including the specifics of your interst and purpose for buying a cabin or owning a tiny home.
Step 2
DESIGN
Once you’ve agreed to a suitable design, we’ll lock in the design and specs, along with any customisations and upgrades you may require. The quote and approvals will be locked in at this point, with a $7,000 fee required to start preliminary works. (Terms and conditions apply)
Step 3
PLAN
We’ll handle all manufacturing of the cabin or tiny house in our site and contracts, logistics etc.
Step 4
CONSTRUCTION
The actual construction of your cabin or tiny house will only take a matter of weeks (not months!), depending on supply. This process happens in a partly weather-controlled environment at our Auckland manufacturing facility, which helps us avoid weather delays.
Step 5
TRANSPORT
We will liaise with your transport company and deliver your new home to your site or property. If you will be doing the installation yourself for kit-set we can liaise with you or your team to make sure everything is easy to deliver and an easy installation is ensured for kit set pieces.

INSTALL (IF NEEDED)
If you’re located within 4 hours of the metro area, we can also offer installation onsite. We will liaise with your transport company, if required, and deliver your new home to your site once the relevant site works have been completed.

MOVING IN
The big moment! We’ll help you with any advice you might need to enjoy your new home, and look forward to seeing you move in!
