Q2: What is the leading time?

A: Our lead time depends on different types of products, usually from 2 to 10 weeks from deposit to delivery. The lead time can fluctuate depending on order volume, so the best way is to contact us to check for an updated time frame.

Q3: What are the terms of payment?

A: A deposit of up to 50% is required before we begin processing your order, and your cabin will not be placed into the production schedule until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid before delivery.

.A: The height is from 2650mm to 2840mm.

*Measurements are not to scale and could be slightly different depending on the assembled cabin or cabin flatpack.

*Measurements for standard cabins only, we accept customised heights (Extra charge)

Q5: Do you offer a warranty?

A: The assembled cabin comes with a five-year warranty. If an LBP carries out the foundation and we have arranged the delivery, we carry out regular maintenance (every 6 months). The warranty will extend up to 5 years.

Q6: Do you supply double glazed windows/doors?

A: Yes. All our assembled cabins come with double-glazed windows and doors as standard, providing improved insulation and energy efficiency.

Q7: Are the transportable cabins insulated?

A: All walls and ceilings are insulated; the floor insulation can be installed at an additional cost.

Q8: How are the cabins delivered?

A: We provide door to door trailer delivery nationwide. Hiab delivery available too, but if it’s long distance we recommend that we deliver to you by trailer and you can organize your local truck company to put the cabin on the place you want in order to save you cost on transportation.

If delivery & set up of the cabin requires using a neighboring property, we require written permission from the owner of the property prior to delivery.

Q9: Can you do on-site assembly?

A: Yes, we can do on-site assembly in the Auckland area or the surrounding areas.

Q10: Can we add extra windows/ranch sliders to my cabin?

A: Yes, you can. We do have several selections of windows and doors available.

Q11: Can we have lights, power points etc for our cabin?

A: Yes, we can install the electrical and provide the COC.

Q12: Can we pick up the cabin ourselves?

A:  Yes, you can pick it up yourself. However, please note that self-pick-up may affect the warranty, as improper handling can cause damage. We strongly recommend using a professional transport company to ensure safe delivery and full warranty coverage.

Q13: What are the foundation requirements?

A: The portable cabin is not designed to be fixed to the ground directly and must be raised off the surface. We recommend engaging a local LBP to create a suitable foundation that meets the required standards and is appropriate for your cabin.

Q14: How far off the boundary does the cabin need to be?

A: Generally, it depends on how high and how far is your cabin from the boundary and the main dwelling. For more information we would suggest that you check with your local Council first.

Q15: Do we need consent for the cabin?

A: The building consent is needed for a cabin with a cooking facility or plumbing. Some councils have differing opinions, we suggest that you check with your local Council first prior to your purchase.
